Client Description:
PATH (Parents and Teachers Helping) is the support and
fundraising non-profit organization for Castlebay Lane
Elementary School in Porter Ranch / Northridge. The school is
part of LAUSD and a California Distinguished School.
Client Objective:
The client wanted a website to promote the PATH organization and
all the programs that PATH was providing through its
fund-raising. They want to use the website to increase parent
participation and giving in order to provide more student
programs.
A secondary objective is to keep parents updated about current
events at the school. Their target reader is the current and

- Developed custom design to reflect the school's academic
excellence.
- Identified content areas and how to organize them.
- PATH provided newsletters which we drew from to create
content. We also hunted down content owners, conducted
interviews and drafted content.
- Identified photo opportunities and shot images of children,
community and art to make the site colorful and interesting.
