PRNC.org
Client Description:
The Porter Ranch Neighborhood Council is an official
organization certified by the City of Los Angeles to allow
Porter Ranch residents to make their voices heard in City Hall.
The PRNC serves stakeholders: residents, business owners and
those who work in Porter Ranch.
Client Objective:
 We
designed the PRNC's original site in 2004 and redesigned the site
in 2011 as shown at the left to take advantage of feature rich
content management system technology and to implement a design
allowing users to see everything at a glance. The site includes
a vibrant background highlighting the beauty of the community,
the slideshow showcases the work of the Council, and the In The
News briefs allow users to quickly scan the news.
The PRNC uses their site to communicate with stakeholders about
their objectives, accomplishments and involvement opportunities.
The original site (shown at left) was a clean three
column tabloid format for maximum information display. They
wanted the design to reflect Porter Ranch, so we included a view
of the mountains in the neighborhood. The site is targeted at
stakeholders.

- Photographed the mountains and enhanced the photo for the site.
- Created an information rich design with graphics that
showcase the neighborhood. Users see it and know they are on
the right site.
- Draft informative, easy to read content.
- Delivered the site on time.
- Maintain the site by posting meetings, news, events and
documents on a regular basis.
- Assist Council with articles for local papers and HOA
communications.
- Push out content to stakeholders via a Constant Contact
newsletter branded to go with the website.
